How will this effect Nintendo as a whole? Clearly there will be better communication between Japan and NoA, but what will this mean?

It could quite possibly may make things worse considering the different outlooks the Japanese have in regards to buisness compared to Americans.

you would love that to be true

You have no understanding of American and Japanese business by making such a remark. Keep the juvenile snidey comments to yourself please and keep this thread mature, k?

Not even sure why you comment in Nintendo threads considering it is pretty obvious you don't like Nintendo.

I have no bias with regard to gaming companies, however I have been saying since the Wii that Nintendo's abandonment of core gamers would bite them in the ass, and that going down a route of gimmicks rather than true gaming innovation would only hurt them further.

Looking at the sales of the Wii U, it looks like I was right. Being right does not mean I dislike Nintendo, but I can spot idiotic business decisions a mile away, and the Wii U so far is one of those idiotic decisions. Making the guy who gave this to-date disaster (failing to meet two sales targets is a disaster) the go-ahead many NA responsibilities is probably even more idiotic.
