I went from 3 to 4GB of ram in my netbook and framerates increased by 50%.  RAM is important.

I doubled the RAM in my tower and saw no noticable increase in performance. :P RAM is important, but not influential like a good GPU/CPU.

No, RAM is important but it doesn't scale linearly.  Either a game needs a certain speed or amount, or it doesn't.  If you use extra (Speed or Amount), then it doesn't really change much unlike a GPU (Much like how an i7-39xxX isn't any better than an i3-3220 in 90% of the games out there).

See this is my point.  Since it will be utilized effectively, it will give a massive boost...

I 100% agree with this, and I believe RAM was a weakpoint of the PS3, but so was the CPU, was it not? a 16x RAM increase is nice, but excessive, most will not be used (at least not by non exclusives, RAM will allow more objects on screen, so you will see more MAC type exclusive games).

All in all, too much RAM for PS4 is better then too little, but it won't make PS4 10-15x more powerful then the PS3 when the GPU is only 9x more powerful, and the CPU is 5x.

9-10X, okay I won't argue it even though I think it's more like 8-9x, but really, up to 15x more powerful?
