Was Seiken Densetsu 3 as good as Secret of Mana? Love that they kept the same art style.

I think it's better.

Basic attacks have cooldown so you can't stun enemies forever. It isn't possible to use different weapons with the same character. Magic has casting time.

Super moves become relevant - instead of holding attack to charge the super bar, it increases everytime you hit an enemy. Characters learn new super moves of higher levels (which require to fill the super bar more) when they change class.

There are six characters and you choose three. Each character can change class twice, with four final classes available.

Each class learns a different super move, can wear different equipment, has different stats and learns different spells.

Depending on the first character there are three final areas with different bosses, and the story is a bit different.

Well, there goes my next weekend. :( (Thanks for the recommendation!).

Atelier Rorona! Really nice tunes in this one. The game itself was kind of disappointing though tbh, can't really recommend it. I've heard the sequels improve things massively though.
