Right, that would explain why they released GP Legend and Climax for the GBA after GX was released for the GC.

But in all seriousness, GX is no benchmark. Not in quality and not in sales. It's basically the beginning of the end. It sucked. GP Legend was lame. Climax was redundant. The series was killed by outsourcing it to developers that weren't up to the task.

On topic: Shin'en doesn't have enough workforce for a project of this scope. If they are working on a futuristic racing game, it's going to be FAST Racing League 2 for the eShop.

 

For me it is. I loved GX. After the original (for nostalgia reasons and music) the best version for me. And F Zero just doesn't work on handhelds after they realized that they might have just seen no point in making a new one without being able to dramatically improve on it. I really hope we get one this time.
