PS3 might outsell, yes, but I can see stingray (mini-60) could have quite an impact to sales but we'll see. But what about this more and more games and new ip's? In 2014 Sony will most likely concentrate on PS4 and hope that 3rd-party-support will be good for PS3. If Sony keeps supporting PS3 the PS4 will suffer, easy as that. They can't support both platforms with the same quality and quantity.

they will have to manage a transition carefully, not everyone will be able to afford ps4 straight away the price will drop for ps3 definatly and i think it would be a good idea to release a steady flow of ps4 exculives in 1st year

Ah yes, the PS3-price-drop... I am wondering for some time how low the price of PS3 can get as the architecture is still quite complex to produce. Look at the new slim: The case got even worse, people are complaining about the vibrating optical drive and its build quality and it only offers 12gb of flash (cheapest version) can be bought for 179 euros. I wonder if there will ever be a version available for 99 euros...
