no, the gap didn't increase a million when ps3 started to sell in europe.

release of the ps3 was end of march in europe. the gap between ps3 and 360 was ~8.2m before that and from then, the gap was never really bigger.

Maybe that's what I was thinking of. Anyway being consistantly outsold to consistantly outselling is a comeback in any definition of the word

but it was never consistently outsold, that's the point of this thread. ps3 did never sell worse a 360 when it was on every major market and it is pretty obvious that 360 sold more as ps3 when ps3 was not on the market or only in usa and japan.

ps3 was never really weak (as long as you don't compare it with ps2), it just had a later release.

It's incredibly naive to ignore the Wii here...
