Why would they include PS+? At the very beginning of the generation it will lack the instant game collection as well as a bunch of other features. Similarly to Vita I expect it to be brought over a year or so after launch. Plus most of the people buying a PS4 at $400 in the first year will already be PS+ subscribers.

 

And guys, look at the past. No one includes software in launch SKUS.

To provide services like cloud storage and other things they will be incorporating that are a part of plus. Instant game collection isn't the only thing.
