thats just raw manufacture, shipping and packing as well as adverstising cost o lot by themselves and arent included.

There probably is still some profit, shipping, packing and advertising can't cost $90 per system can it?

Law of diminishing returns. When you don't sell alot you don't make a lot. Profit isn't a fixed variable. I wouldn't be surprised if they were more profitable with the vita with a price cut.
