If only people would remember this when talking about the Wii U, haha.

Oh I know. In only a few years its games will look way better than anything on PS360.

That's a good thing. It will look more comparable to the nexbox and ps4 when they release.....The Wii received a beating by people over its no hd capabilities and the WiiU is being trashed on this site already. I can't wait till e3,hopefully Ninty will have something to shut them up.

Retro's game should be very impressive visually, im hoping its either a huge open world western RPG or a new Metroid

Considering how beautiful Metroid Prime 3 and Donkey Kong Country Returns were despite running on 88MB of RAM and a fixed function GPU, Retro should be able to blow minds with a programmable GPU and 1GB of RAM. At least I hope so, I'm afraid of getting my hopes up for anything on the Wii U front these days; knowing my luck they'l be working on Mario Kart U or something else that's graphically modest.
On topic, I don't think the 3DS is up to the Gamecube graphically; it has newer shader tech, but textures and polygon counts seem far below GC levels.

@Retro working on Mario Kart U: They will (at most) devote a small team to the game, you have to keep in mind that Namco just released a new Mario Kart Arcade kabinet and I´m pretty sure that if EAD 1 needs more manpower to get the game ready for Christmas, they will contact Namco (again, likeSSB) they do that a lot lately (Oot3D with Grezzo, Fire Emblem Awakening with Red Entertainment, Mario 3D LAnd with Brownie Brown, Paper Mario Sticker Star with Vanpool etc.) +the lead artist at Retro studios tweeted something along the lines of "My next project will be my crowning achievement blabla..." !
On topic: Definately far better in the texture departement, and the poly count is a step up too!
