Then you need to get the original 3DS. The original 3DS is the "Lite."

Personally, I think it would be wise for Nintendo to release an official "3DS Lite" model with the sleek dimensions and improved buttons of the DSi (perhaps even with the matte finish).  If released in late 2014/2015 and coupled with a price drop, I think we'd see a nice sales surge from a move like that.
