That sounds pretty awesome to me. Imagine a game like that was shown, with Killzone 4 level visuals. Re-style Samus's armor into something a bit cooler, have great online deathmatch, maybe don't even call it metroid, just have it in the same universe. Each player plays different, maybe Samus using the remote/nunchuck while the alien partner plays dual-analog on the gamepad screen. That would blow my mind if done well. |
Yeah, I wouldn't get my hopes up for a Metroid game... I'm pretty sure it'll be a new IP, or a new Star Fox games; but they really deserves the chance to create something new on their own, and not be handed one of Nintendo's old franchises...

Oh, I would love a new IP! Starfox would be a bit of a let down for me, I was never a huge fan.

I've never played a Star Fox game actually, but I think there's great potential in that franchise, but yeah - a new IP would be the best; a chance for them to really show what they're made of!
