Okay, so I read an article that compares it to Final Fantasy IX... if this is true, and without any more information at all... I'm buying it. Any more information is just icing on the cake

Yep, just seen some screenshots and the graphics, 3d models on a pre rendered background will look gorgeous in 3D. Now I'm going to check out the battle system, the music, and see what kind of gameplay it is, like, is it a mission based RPG, or some "epic fulfilling" story based RPG?

Btw the game is basically a spiritual successor to Four Heroes of Light but that's just a technicality. It's very, very different. Also the game functions like a regular RPG. Even has a world map, ship, and airship. The game also has a job system like FF V. The story was written by Steins;Gate writer Naotaka Hayashi, who wrote for Steins;Gate (a visual novel and also an anime) which had a great story.
Beautiful OST, this game seems to be worthy successor to the old Final Fantasy games^^
