I am a PS+ member since almost 1 year and it's a great service but I have this crazy thing of thinking that whenever something is free it immediately drops in value for me, except for the very first seconds after an announcement when I tend to think "wow, what a bargain, I am really lucky".

For example, I was planning to get Hitman from the bargain bin at 20 Euros or something, but now that I know will get it for free I feel like I will never even bother to play it.

"Free" translates to "not worth my time" in my mind and I almost can't control it.

Does anyone feel even remotely the same?

I guess...but if I don't end up playing one of the games its because I have too many to play. I can not catch up with the offerings and have to pick and choose, and then pick which titles I actually want to pay for and create an even bigger backlog of titles.

I almost feel like if gaikai becomes viable outside of Japan and a few other places it would be better to pay slightly more to just have the whole back library unlocked because even at $4 a month for PS+ and a limited selection of older titles there isn't enough time in a day to play them all. Sony could open it all up and charge a little more. But I don't know what they are going to do yet but I'm friggen jealous of Japan after that So-Net 2 Gb/s 1Gb/s announcement, not that their internet didn't already destroy mine.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
