nothing controls specifically what i play, not even gameplay (to the moon says hi) but great graphics are an important factor to me, as is gameplay, story or sound.
the last of us would be good without great graphics (for consoles) but i'm very happy that it will have good graphics.
when i walk through columbia and i see some nice lighting it just makes me smile, awesome!
and yes, there are games i wouldn't buy with bad graphics. i woud have never bought a game like metro with bad graphics.
