You're being delusional. Sony's not going to try take a $100+ loss again. They don't have the funds to.

The hell? Sony can perfectly take a $100 loss per unit and its probably what they'll take with PS4. In fact Sony's loss with PS2 was above $100 with PS2 launch too.

Its not gonna be comparable to PS3 which was $600 and Sony still made around $300 loss on each unit.

1.No they can't. Maybe when they were riding on the back of the dominant PS1, but they sure can't take that big of a loss now. They don't have the financial strength to do so.

They will and can. Sony's consoles have always been loss leaders, look up what it means. They make up for it with software and psn sales.

Yeah they did. they only recently started making a profit on PS3 hardware.

You are ill informed, Sony didn't wipe out all their profits from earlier gens.
