So... who decides to buy Atlus if Index (parent company) goes under?

Not from Namco. If they are hesitant to release mainline Tales series, they sure as hell ain't bringing the Etrians over.

The Persona Series and maaaaybe SMT.

I would even say that Sega is far worse when it comes to bringing niche Japanese games to the West (all the Shining Games on the PSP, Hatsune Miku, Yakuza 5 /HD collection, Valkyria Chronicles 3 etc. )....

So I would go with Nintendo or Sony (preferebly Nintendo )
