Optimistic thoughts on Wii U 3rd Party Support

Iwata also said that they want to share more information on "the efforts of our third party publishers"....publishers being the key word. That means not games from Platinum, or any of the collaborations they have announced or will announce. As the OP linked later.....two games were announced as being worked on for the Wii U today. Expect more to come.

Mostly I wrote it to show that the Wii U will be more than capable of running any game released by third parties for several years. Most third parties won't ignore the larger install base and will just have to increase/have load times, drop the resolution, remove particles and AI routines and so forth. The ports will be toned down, but they won't look bad by any means.

I do also expect more third party games to adopt the wiiU in the future, but I wouldnt hold my breath for that thought. The game industry sometimes seems like is being handled by fanboys...
