Sony says PS4 price will appeal to gamers “in the broadest sense”

I think that this cements the PS4 in at a $400 value tops. Yet it most likely will be subsidized like phones and tablets these days. Pachter also hinted at this and it is something that has been thrown around the meeting room tables for some time. We could even see $1 PS4 with X Year contract.

Gamestop also knows something we don't know, they made comments sounding really assured that PS4 would be sold out most likely upon release. If subsidizing is the route these companies are going than Gamestop would have to be in on it, and be preparing for the new policies.
