I have read a couple of articles like this, and I have always agreed with them.
Whether or not Nintendo gets 3rd party support will have nothing to do with it's lack of power, and will have everything to do with whether the developers want to make the game(I'm looking at you EA). It will be at least 3-4 years till we start seeing a difference gameplay-wise.
