Well, there's a difference in being a Nintendo fan, and a Zelda fan, isn't it?

So, Nintendo fans don't care about Zelda - second Nintendo franchise after Mario?

The biggest franchise after all of the different Mario games should be Super Smash, right? It's selling better anyways. So, with your reasoning every Sony fan should buy Uncharted AND God of War? Or Little Big Planet and Infamous? What you're saying here is that people that buys Bran Turismo would all want to buy GoW/UC/LBP, or that everyone that plays Halo is going to buy Fable/Forza/Gears. That is what you're saying, right? Or doesn't Sony fans care about GoW/UC/LBP and MS fans doesn't care about Fable/Forza/Gears because they're not buying them?

Different people has different tastes.

Then let me ask you, since you're saying that F:J has a different appeal to it (since it's a rail shooter spin off); doesn't SS have a different appeal as well? You know, using motion controls and all? I've heard a lot of people saying they were turned off by that whole thing, and being a fan doesn't mean you'll buy everything - just look at F:J; that didn't even sell to the fan base either. SS is NOT basically the same games since it plays VERY differently than any other Zelda game, no?

1) Even Twilight Princess used motion controls.

Yes, but they were VERY different. This is a stupid comparison, really. Have you played any of those 2 Zelda games?

2) I've heard a lot of people saying they were turned off by that whole thing - like 5 people on this forum? And look at metacritic rating - 93. Yeah.

Great metacritic doesn't necessarily mean great sales. Just look at Metroid Prime...

3) and being a fan doesn't mean you'll buy everything - you will by this game, or will wait another 5 years for next game. Yeah. Every fan do that thing.

There are fans, and then there are die hard fans, and you also have ordinary gamers. I've already said that it seems like the Zelda fan base is around 3m... But doesn't this argument also apply to Fable? How much has Fable Journey sold? Less than 1m? If people really were fans of the franchise they'd buy Kinect just to play it, using your reasoning. Which means the Fable fan base is below 1m, making Zelda the bigger franchise.

4) it plays VERY differently than any other Zelda game, no? - this is just INSANE. Only part Nintendo changed - sword controls, and you swing sword with motion controls already in Z:TW. But all dungeon system, powerups and core gameplay - same to original NES game. Heck, even new Zelda will be more different, because Nintedo promises open world and online interactions - so it will flop for sure?

Oh man.... You just don't know what you're talking about. VERY evident here. No clue what so ever. SS plays nothing like the original game. I'm not even gonna argue this point with you since you don't know what you're on about.

Do you really think it was mostly casuals that bought the Wii Zapper? As far as I know casuals isn't all that in to shooters...

Indifferent. This is showcase game for peripheral - like Wii Sports or Kinect Adventures. Any comparisons with bundled console games - are INSANE.

Well then, I guess we have to take away over 1m from F3 since that was bundled as well. So F3 sold less then 4m then, which is roughly as much as SS has sold... And you needed at peripheral to SS...

I'm saying that Zelda isn't the only fantasy-adventure game on Wii, whilst that particular selection is quite limited on X360 - or am I wrong?

List this games.

I can't because there isn't any other game like it on X360...  Or did you want me to list fantasy adventure games on the Wii? What about Zelda TP? Now, having looked through some games I have to give you this one; there isn't much else for Wii in the action-adventure department...

And on a last note; I'm guessing that Fable is a bigger franchise then GoW:J and GoW:A now since those hasn't sold as well as Fable either; fact is Zelda SS had a much better opening month than those two games, and since Fable is a bigger franchise than Zelda because of the diminishing sales, I guess that must be true for GoW and Gears as well. Heck, it must be bigger than 2D Mario as well since NSMBU isn't selling well either!

Fable bigger than Mario confirmed!!!1!! :O
