Personally I do not think the Wii U needs a price drop, because it is a pretty amazing piece of technology. It has a tablet that is really nice and offers many possibilities for gameplay. If I were to guess a price cut, I would say end of the summer after it could be announced at e3. More around the release, as someone said before, of the Remake of Zelda: Wind Waker. The Wii U will be fine, it will eventually have its own audience and dedicated people following it. Personally, if Nintendo grabbed up a lot of Japanese support for it, then I can see them being just fine in the future just like the 3ds.
