Nintendo has promised to be profitable this year, and is already selling the Wii U at a loss. I don't think they will risk breaking that promise by increasing that loss. They will count on a strong Holiday lineup to build momentum and push sales of Wii U. I don't think it'll get a price cut before April 2014.
