Your sentence makes zero sense. A next-gen console being forced to have a price cut a few months after launch is horrific news, you can't spin that.

No, you are expecting Wii-level sales on a console that is priced 100$ more during the same period and has a much less mass-appealing software library during the same period.

On top of that, it needs a pricecut this early because Nintendo home consoles simply don't sell well at 300$, all it takes is a bit of Nintendo history to figure that one out. It's not spinning, it's simple logic. It probably makes no sense to you for a reason.

The part you are referring to I believe they were saying that as a result of poor 3rd party support that the Wii U is or will be perceived as a console on which people only get to play Nintendo games. That's not the same as saying that it plays only Nintendo games  without pointing out why.

Hey Branco in the clip there is a segment where the guy is listing arguments Nintendo gamers would give to say that the U is not out of the discussion. One of those points was that it was about the games. At another point they say that it only plays Nintendo games, so basically it's kind of out of the question. But it's not like their round-table was about 3rd party support, it was about end number predictions.

It makes you realize that they want Nintendo out of the discussion because they disdain Nintendo, they simply don't understand it (for some snobbish reason).
