LOL. Streaming is just part of the digital revolution. Streaming really took off with Netflix. Microsoft had nothing to do with it.

Do you realize that Netflix runs on Silverlight and Moonlight (in Linux - say on a Roku) for streaming? Those are Microsoft developed formats.
If the HD war didn't happen, people wouldn't be streaming as much - as more people would own and use whatever the HD format was.
