Would PS3 use Blu-Ray if format war didnt happen?

Yes, they were even more than that for a time!  I was also thinking that if there had been one HD format, the drives would have dropped in price faster.

Plus if there was one format, consumers would have bought more of them, allowing them to expand and lower manufacturing cost.
