Well considering even some game sites which SELL games still confuse DS and 3DS by grouping them together, I will not be surprised the general public still think its just an expensive addon for Wii.
I too had a similar story where a friend come around and we were playing COD on Wii U. He asked how much was the gamepad. I'm like it is a new console. He said oh i didn't know. Now all he has ever played is Wii and no HD Twins, so I said you cannot tell form the significantly better graphics? He said no, so is this proof that general people don't care about graphics? or is it proof we as a society have lost the ability to connect the dots and don't think past each point lol?
