I think the problem is that you're attempting to equate the hundreds of thousands of people who bought the game in NA with a small sample population of gamers on a single web forum.
Just because no one on the forums will play with you online in Luigi's Mansion has nothing to do with how well or how poorly the sales of the game are tracked on the site.
The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.
