Ah, that reminds me.  Does anyone else here like Ethopian food?

And no, I'm not kidding.  It's a real cuisine that uses all sorts of spices, everything is served on a large communal tray, and you get to eat with your hand with something like a pancake!  Many of the spices remind me of good Indian food, but used differently and on different things.

I have taken many people on cuisine adventures to try it, and most all like it.

You grab a piece of the Injera it to pick from the different foods, then eat the entire thing with your hands.  I really like the different flavors of lentils, fish, lamb, curries, collards, cabbage, pumpkin, etc.

Yea, I've had ethiopian food before, real ethopian food, when I went to Africa. I'm not a fan. I don't like spicy food, and I know ethiopian isn't spicy spicy, but it's just got a weird taste to it.

However Ethiopean food in Canada and USA is nothing like the food in Africa, the meat here just isn't suited for that style of food, it's too soft and fatty. In Africa it made sense, I wouldn't want to eat Pizza in Africa, and at the same token, I don't want to eat Ethiopian.

However I'm Ukrainian, and we mostly only eat Root vegetables like Potatos, Beats, Onions, Carrots, etc. I suppose I just prefer blander, more wholesome foods. That said I love foods with lots of garlic, and onions.

Dammit.....now I want to make my own perogies.....
