GungHo's hit smartphone game Puzzle & Dragons is heading to 3DS this Winter in Japan according to the latest CoroCoro magazine. The new game will be titled Puzzle & Dragons Z (PuzDra Z for short). It will feature over 200 monsters, and 3DS exclusive "drop" features.
The hit game, available free on Android and iOS, has been downloaded over 12 million times. Recently it became the number one most profitable smartphone game worldwide on both systems. Profits gained per month by microtransactions are said to be the equivalent of GungHo releasing a full console game that sells 2.5 million copies, resulting in explosive stock growth for the company.
