the non premium cars are straight ported from GT4 or even the PSP GT. I haven't seen worse looking cars in all racers I've played this gen (PGR3+4, Forza 2-4, Horizon, Dirt 1-3,Dirt Showdown, Grid, GT5 Prologue, NFS Most Wanted 2005 - Most Wanted 2012 etc.)
The standard tracks are a tiny bit better.... maybe launch graphic levels.

The worst thing is you are being forced to use them when you start a new carreer (might've changed with the patches, but there was no way around it for the first few months). So you can't even choose if you wish to play the nice GT5, you need to beat the "PS2 version" before you can get to the real game.

I agree the some standards cars looks ugly compared to Premium but standards still looks better than GT PS2 or GT PSP cars... and there are standards cars that looks close (or even better) to Premium too (the biggest difference in Permium cars are the full detailed cockpit... no other racing game did that in this level of detais).

PS. You can choose to use standards or premiums cars since start... you just bought a satandar one for the first car.

These are standards cars.
