Ohh I very much doubt a Xbox rumor about Always on is going to change the Investors mind about MS as a whole. You got to remember that Win8, Office 2013, SQL, Azure, outlook and what not are all looking good right now.
Win8 isn't as doomed as it looks it's just a minor step in the big picture not to mention WP8 has been gaining ground lately so I really don't think these rumors will have any impact on a stock price - however the announcement will have an minor impact on the stock price.
As a whole 2013 is a win so far for MS, besides Investors don't care about rumors they care about growth and the profits so as long as MS gives them their money I don't see why they should jump ship
