Train wreck on 10 April 2013
*sigh* Sony was able to ship 23.8 million PS3's with an AVERAGE selling price ABOVE $400 and did not have a price that averages the Wii U's current price for close to 3 years (august 2009 80G for $299 160g for $399)...and this is the PS3, you know, the system with the worst console launch. I think they will have an easier time selling the PS4 with a price tag that, for all the rumors, is going to be less than the PS3 at launch.
