I am a big supporter of marijuana, but I have to agree here. It is not a good recommendation for people with anxiety.
Before going to the doc to get some piece of mind for my health anxiety, smoking pot would make me feel terrible and my anxiety would go into overdrive.
Now that I have less worries I can smoke again. It's my best unwinding tool since I quit smoking cigarettes (2) years ago.
Drinking is also a bad recommendation in my experience. If someone is getting anxious and it is leading to depression it would only drive them to drink more, which isn't good.
