I'm just basing my opinion on the part that said, "saw little competitive pressure from Sony."  If there is little pressure from a competitive standpoint, you just announce your great news and crush them.  The only other thing that makes sense to me is that the rumored announcement date was just wrong.

That doesn't mean MS has some amazing news that will crush the competition. Sony didn't show anything that blew people away, MS may not either.

You're reading into this all wrong.

I'm saying the reason doesn't make sense.  The real reason is either they are just not ready, or the original rumored date was bullshit.

I'm not sure how that's relevant to what we were talking about.

Anyhow, all we know is MS isn't rushing. Maybe they'll actually have a console to show.

That's what my very first comment was about...that the reason given doesn't make sense in context.
