are we gonna talk about the sales of the WiiU in this thread or are we actually gonna talk about whether or not the guy has a point? you know are we gonna talk about some games? or just sales?

Honestly, as much as I'm pissed that we're being fed this drivel instead of game stuff, I find the off-screen play thing quite valuable. If my flatmates want the big screen, I can keep playing Need for Speed on the Pad. It's definitely an advantage, though I'm not confident its a big system seller to others.

the thing is i honestly dont think that consoles are in the center of the living room anymore. people seem to have tvs in their rooms specifically for their consoles. while some might like it you like you, i personally dont need it all. as i have a tv in my room with only my ps3 connected to it

Likely it's more of a Japanese thing. Space is at an absolute premium in that country, and many homes are still one-TV homes (you can't take what you see in anime, for instance, as just like western TV, anime tends to portray families with ludicrously large amounts of living space compared to the average Japanese family)

But even in other homes, there's often only one *good* TV, that you'd want to be hte living room center point, especially if it's primarily a local multiplayer machine.

Mr Khan, do you feel as if Nintendo designs their consoles with an 'unhealthy' balance towards Japan?
