As real as men to the people who believe.  And if you're Christian, especially Catholic, you believe in the Trinity.  The Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit).  Therefore, God is Jesus.

But historically and scientifically they aren't men.  It's like saying Harry Potter is the most influential man.
