Have dance games supplanted musical instrument games?

Very unlikely to happen. Dance and Fitness go hand in hand, and we are in a World obsessed by image. Dance/Fitness games will be around and popular for a long, long time. Dancing is more popular now than it ever has been and it just keeps growing.

Kinect 2.0 will be the go-to gaming device for these gamers, methinks.

it will... depressing isnt it.  At least my daughter is getting a bit older now and she wont hog my next box to dance to some inane shit.

The PS4 is also getting one of those cameras, so I wouldn't bank on Kinect getting these exclusive programs.  As for it being bad, not sure anything that makes working out more entertaining is actually bad.

And I guess now, fitness is likely to be the think that supplants dance.  Well at least dance as a guitar hero sort of thing.
