Any company can copy another companys ideas and make it better over time. Any company can make a super powerful system and sell it at a loss. What Nintendo do is amazing, they can make profits in console manufacturing which is no easy feet for any company. Wii doesnt have to sell anymore, its done its job. It made Nintendo Millions, Wii = Success. |
Every Xbox 360 purchase represents a potential Xbox LIVE subscriber. Every household that subscribes to Xbox LIVE and maintains that subscription is a potential future console purchase. Xbox LIVE is more of a draw than Nintendo's online service because Microsoft has made an effort to secure the media services of several companies services in the UK and Europe as well as bring services across the pond to them that otherwise may not have been available.
