Ad hominem attacks won't change the fact that mastering costs will not make this feasable for a little while. Plus Blu-Ray has yet to catch up fully with HD-DVD's standards. There is also the fact that mainstream consumers are not as enticed as the A/V crowd. Not yet.
And those factors you claimed were happening a couple months already. So no, Blu-Ray will not take off because of this.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
