It should transfer the save data.  Might have to redownload the games tho.

I got the Monster Hunter XL bundle and everything (including ambassador games) transferred over just fine. I had to redownload Monster Hunter though and lost its save file so you might want to transfer stuff before you start playing the game. Just make sure you connect your Club Nintendo account with the new handheld (just in case).

Can't wait to play this game. The demo was great. There's just too much freaking stuff on the 3DS right now
