Sorry about that, haha. I tend to get excited about things and ramble on and on. Basically it boils down to whoever implements graphene first is going to rock the house. It would be most beneficial to Nintendo if they do go the hybrid route...and man it would be awesome. For a point of reference, the most advanced wireless bandwidth tech we currently have is 1.3 gbps, while graphene is capable of 100tbps, ~100k times faster. In a computer, you would be able to wirelessly transfer your entire collection of blu-ray quality movies in seconds.
The supercapacitors produced on that DVD had some of the highest power density values produced in any supercapacitors. Simply meaning that they are able to hold as much power as much larger supercapcitors in a very small space....which is impressive in this early stage. It took regular supercapacitors years and years to reach that level.
I am highly considering writing an email to Nintendo's R&D suggesting looking into it. If they make the Wii U last for 7 years (pushing it, but possible) graphene could easily be ready for the things I outlined....maybe even sooner than then.
I better stop now before I go on another long rant about this...
