I have to agree that the console itself is not super appealing. The regular one doesn't feel super solid, screen resolution should have been higher, price is quite high (particularly of the XL). Playing the non-XL for a while made my hands hurt. 3D is great in my opinion, but the sweet spot is too narrow.
I'm not sure I will get one. A friend borrowed me his 3DS so I could play Mario3DLand and MK7, maybe I can borrow it again to play Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario and NSMB2. Should the 3DS Zelda get an awesome bundle I may reconsider.
