Think Kinect with the Wii Mote. Wii HD if you will. Last gen methodology can still work in the new gen. Technologywise Nintendo is still running on last gen tech so they can pull it off, but their biggest problem will be convincing people they should buy wiimotes for their Wii U.

They don't give a shit about the tablet. They want the wii-mote or no remote at all. They already bought IPads for that.

What you call idiotic is really just blunt accuracy. Try making Americans buy the Wii U and then ask them to buy the Wiimote as a secondary. The Wii for the majority was a momentary pleasure that collected dust. Wii Sports, Wii fit and games of that ilk were the main games. Neilson even went on record to say that despite the high sales of the Wii it got the least use of all the consoles. With the Wii U's to make it more commercial viable, bundle it with a Wii mote and make it a Wii HD. As I said before, people in America are like robots, they like incremental change. If this werent so, COD, Apple products, Starbucks, Pop music and things of that ilk would be in serious trouble.
