@Stage -Even through the reboot Tomb Raider is still instantly recognizable. DmC is not. Its almost like another game. CAPCOM's ex employee Seth Killian said it best. People dont want brand new. They want 70% of what they know and 30% new. Tomb Raider meets that break up. DmC does not.

DMC in gameplay looks more like the old DMC than the new Tomb Raider looks like its predecessor. Both great reboots, but still, seriously.

Now thats bull, but you know that which is why you put" in gameplay". You know that all games will be judged on a visual basis first( as fucking irritating as it is). You look at Tomb Raider you know its Tomb Raider. You know damn well that cant be said for DmC. No point in having this conversation anymore. DMC fans spoke with their wallet...and everything else including the kitchen sink. They said not interested. So did everybody else. Dont forget that another reason for DMC reboot was to have a more western feel to attract more people but they couldnt get them either.

I truly beg to differ. The old Tomb Raiders were more about exploration and platforming, this one has platforming but its Uncharted platforming. Crystal Dynamics even admitted that the games tone, style and even more was changed from the old games. The old lara was more acrobatic with an almost dead on kill shot even while doing flips in the air and the boycount was nothing like this game and the puzzles in the old games would have you stuck for hours. I don't want to get into spoilers but to say the least this is the more realistic version of what Lara would be like.
