The people have spoken. Someone needs to shut down Ninja Theory. God...such a talented company that was poised to grow in the next gen. Theres no way Capcom is going to fund a second game. Stick a fork in it, its done. Fans only have themselves to blame when less and less great games come out per year. |
I think Ninja theory goes the "safe way" when doing deals with publishers. If the game sells like crazy, they will still get fixed profit, but the same goes if it sells like crap. So they are not going to going out of the industry. They are still kind of small, so they cant go all the way and make things like if it gets more than 2M and they get a bonus. With their track record, they can not do that.
I really think that the best thing this studio could do is go exclusive, so it get more buzz around its projects, and sell more units. Heavenly sword is their best selling game yet. and it was released in 2007, when the PS3 did not had much install base.
