Lego City Stories is a major original project for once by TT, and is published by Nintendo themselves, making it a First Party release. That's not exactly small time.
And Monster Hunter is enormous is Japan. And it's getting more popular in the states as well. Also not what I'd call a "2nd or 3rd tier release", unless of course you only count Marios and Zeldas as "1st tier".
