Right now it's in direct competition with the PS3 and 360, just as i clearly stated, as it's matched more or less equally with them and will be receiving the same titles as them as far as multi platform goes, comparing the WiiU to PS4/720 isn't realistic - that isn't to say the Nintendo "isn't next gen", of course, just that the jump when these consoles release leave the WiiU in competition with the PS3 and 360 which will continue to have legs, so in essence, the WiiU will be in direct competition with the PS3, PS4, 360 and Durango all at once.


PS3 and 360 will have some legs for a time yes, probably one or two years and will continue to compete not only with WiiU but also PS4 and 720. When they won't have any legs anymore then WiiU will be against PS4 and 720 and that's when publishers will decide which ones to support or not and this decision will be based a lot on their respective installed base.
