That's nice, but i'm more in the camp that the price promotion in the US (best buy and target) and Europe (more specific UK which was well documented) and the holiday buying in Japan was the cause of the console rise, not 2nd and 3rd rate tier games.

Don't know about the U.S, but in the UK the price cut didn't improved the sales of the Wii U. The boost was because of the games.

It definitely looked like it was helping. At least it was sold out the first two days I tried to get it at HMV. To be fair it was the biggest price cut so far.
