Weird choice, but for me it's probably the N64. The only games that make it stand up clearly above (or at the same level as) most other Nintendo systems are Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. Mario Kart 64 is my least favorite Mario Kart, F-Zero GX is way superior to F-Zero X, both Melee and Brawl improve significantly over Smash, Wind Waker + Twilight Princess or Twilight Princess + Skyward Sword > Ocarina of Time + Majora's Mask, SM64 is great but Bros. 3, World and Galaxy give it a run for its money, Thousand-Year Door is better than Paper Mario, games aged much worse than SNES or GCN games and no Metroid. It didn't have third-party support like the NES and SNES to brag about. Weird controller, weirdest of them all. Finally, it's my second least favorite external design (only above the big gray NES).

I do recognize how freaking important it was for the whole industry, since that it defined modern 3D games. And I still had many hours of fun with it.
