Dude, don't take the ridiculousness to the other extreme. This statement is 100% legit, you can't disagree that Nintendo has been a few years (a gen?) behind Sony, MS and PC and only recently managed to catch up in this department. I'm pretty sure when it comes to the volume of sales it's still nowhere near PSN, Live and Steam+GoG levels.

All 3 just started this past gen.  You can argue the success of each all you like, but the Wii had a digital store.

That's why it says embraced and not discovered. The digital store on Wii with all its ridiculous limitations was a joke and can't be considered legitimate digital distribution. This came with 3DS and Wii U. They have finally managed to catch up. Nintendo, welcome to 2006 yet again I guess...

I guess all those downloadable games I have don't exist then.  Strange.
